Some of my favorite times of the day are mealtimes. As you can see, I wait patiently in the kitchen for my foster mom to make my breakfast and dinner; but inside, I am really excited. The only problem is that mealtime does not last long enough. Not long after my bowl is put down, it is empty. My foster dad says there must be a hole in my bowl. That is really the only thing that makes sense, but as hard as I look, I cannot find the hole. I suppose I will just keep looking for it, and enjoying mealtime!

Christmas was great...but exhausting! I met new people, which was really good because I love people. I also got a new toy and some delicious cookies. My foster brother and foster sisters got toys too. Funny thing though, I like theirs better and they like mine better. Foster mom says that is ok because we all share anyway.

Ho, Ho, Ho...I got my first Christmas present. One of my foster mom's friends came over for dinner the other night and brought me an I Bone. I even got to unwrap it. How cool am I? I had heard how popular the I Phone was this year and now I have my very own I Bone. Now I can communicate with all my greyhound friends. All this and I still have Santa to look forward to. Merry Christmas to all and I will be in touch soon via I Bone!

The neatest thing happened the other day. The door bell rang and a large box was delivered and my foster mom said it had my name on it. I was so excited because I thought Santa had arrived early. In the box was a brand new bed just for me. I liked my other bed fine but my foster mom was worried it was not big enough for me because when I stretched out all the way my legs would be off the edge of the bed. The new bed is awesome, my legs do not hang off when I stretch, and it sits right next to the toy box. Even more exciting, my foster mom says it was not from Santa, so I still have Santa to look forward to.

I love to run, play and explore in the backyard. I sure do prefer the sunny days to the rainy and cold ones! I hear snow may be on the way, I am not sure what that is, but I am ready for my first "White Christmas!"

Misty Moon has been with us for several weeks now. She is very sweet and loving. In fact, I think she could spend hours standing with her head on your lap and getting attention. She is a stunningly beautiful girl with a shiny, soft coat. She has the cutest white tips on each of her paws and on the tip of her tail. She is adjusting very well to our home. She is very curious and likes to check out everything. She loves to play with fluffy toys. From the very beginning she has slept well throughout the night. The first two nights she was here, when it was time to go to the bedroom for the night, she emptied the entire toy box that is near her bed and carefully played with each toy before turning in for the night. She loves to go for walks and she is very good on a leash. She can go up and down the stairs like a pro. She is doing very good with her house training with only the occasional accident. She gets along great with her foster brother greyhound and her two foster sister whippets.

Look into My Eyes

Moon is a beautiful, small, shiny girl with eyes that look right into your soul. She has a very calm demeanor and sweet disposition. She is always happy to see us when we come to kennel walk and she is a lovely little girl. She will make a family or a single and great companion!
